Let Me Eat You Back
Everything on this lonely planet is about balance.
Either too low or too high, too little or too much, too short or too long, too slow or too fast will give us imbalance of life and do harm to both our physical and mental health.
One very good example for Hong Kong people is the imbalanced work life of course.
Long working hour, ridiculously short lunch beak, lack of career prospects, lack of welfare and fringe benefits, overtime work, extra attention on work, etc.
All these bring anxiety and stress to people in this fxxking small and mountainous city with population more than 7 miliions and I bet 8 is coming.
Economy running too fast, people working too much and for too long, stress level too high.
So simply you can say Hong Kong is sick. Hong Kong people are all sick.
But stress here is not what I am concerning in this post. What I wanna further discuss is BALANCE in heart.
Yes, I am talking about our hearts. Have your heart ever been eaten by the others?
I guess it is really common just like when people having a fight with partners, being slapped by someone you love, betrayed by your best friend, etc. If more space is allowed here and you have the patience to read, I believe all the experience and examples are enough for me to make a hundred posts.
Why would we allow the others to eat us like that?
Answer is simple enough: We care and we love.
We love the people we fought with. We care our friends. We has every of our beloved ones to stay in a small corner of our hearts.
#Whenever I type all these love stuff here I feel disgusting and GooseBumps!!! So better keep it short.
Eating is no exception you know.
Like junkfood from Mcdonald's, eating too much and too often will lead to many bad consequences which even a documentary talked about it.
So the rule can be applied to heart eaters as well. Once your heart is eaten by someone, one thing needs to make sure is you can eat him/her back to strive a balance. (Of course the best is not to allow anyone to eat you LOL) If you realize he/she eats you more than you can get and keep eroding your heart, better don't give a shit anymore because it is simply suicide and a waste of energy. Care needs energy, so do love and being sad.
IDIOTS, time to wake up and face the reality. Who says love is all about sacrifice and should be boundless?
If your heart is big enough to accept all the anger, disappointments, depression, stress and pain, then Congratulations! you are about to become the greatest lover in this world even comparable to God.
But your answer is NO then it is better to protect yourself and do some good to your health.
If someone criticizes me only concern practicability in life, I would say SELF-LOVE is more likely the word.
"Before letting the others eat you, eat them first or to make sure you can eat them back."
##OH My god... is this blog turning into a love blog??? I feel really sorry about this. Promise no more after this one :S
